CCMI or CIP Certification Program

Become a Certified Case Manager & Interventionist (CCMI) or a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP). These certification packages include all 5 Training Modules for the price of 4, a $750 savings.

 

CERTIFIED CASE MANAGER & INTERVENTIONIST (CCMI)

  • 125 hours required for certification
  • Offered through 5 online modules with live lecture, roll play and
    networking opportunities.

CERTIFIED INTERVENTION PROFESSIONAL (CIP)

CIP certification, which is administered and available online through the Pennsylvania Certification Board after completion of CCMI Modules and CADC or comparable Certification.

Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) PROGRAM

Become a Certified Alcohol and Drugs Counselor! The Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor training is self-paced and consists of seven online courses (315 hours). Once you have paid all fees, you will be given access to the courses and can begin working right away. This certification package includes all 7 Courses for the price of 6, saving $750.

CCMI Training Class Introductions

Introduction to Intervention and Case Management:

An overview of the principles and strategies on which to develop skills to successfully conduct interventions and provide the appropriate support post intervention. This Mod also features continued training on Motivational Interviewing techniques, clinical documentation and crisis intervention. 

Family Systems: How intervene on and Support Families, From Intervention to 1 Year

 Families struggle to know what to do when faced with addiction and mental health issues.  This training will help explore family dynamics, understand family systems and learn how to create a recovery plan for the entire family.  We will also explore how to intervene on the Codependency that is central to family relapse. This Mod also features continued training on Motivational Interviewing techniques, clinical documentation and crisis intervention. 

PROFESSIONALISM, ETHICS AND SELF CARE

Drug and Alcohol addiction is not the only issue facing the families we work with.  Many have co-occurring mental health issues or process addictions that can make intervention and case management more complex and challenging.  Learn to identify, work with and support clients who have complex presentations. This Mod also features continued training on Motivational Interviewing techniques, clinical documentation and crisis intervention. 

Cultural Awareness: Bringing Cultural Competencies to Intervention and Long-Term Recovery Support Offerings

Being culturally sensitive can be the difference between engaging a family and stopping the process of change.  Understanding and awareness are the first steps to meeting the needs of clients.

This module will also explore specific issues to specialty populations such as older adults, adolescents, LGBTQ and First Responders/Veterans.  This Mod also features continued training on Motivational Interviewing techniques, clinical documentation and crisis intervention. 

INTERVENTION AND CM FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND PROCESS ADDICTIONS:

There are many decisions that you will make every day.  Understanding best practices that are guided by a code of ethics is important to providing top-level client care.  As a provider, maintaining the utmost professionalism is so important.  This module will support you in understanding ethical considerations as an interventionist, case manager and within the treatment industry.  This Mod also features continued training on Motivational Interviewing techniques, appropriate and ethical clinical documentation and crisis intervention.  It will also highlight the importance of self-care and how a well-maintained provider will be able to provide the highest level of care for their client.
