Interventionist
Jan Pompei is an experienced, CCMI certified interventionist, trained under Ken Seeley, John Southworth and Eric McLaughlin. After working in the treatment field for over 5 years in the non-profit sector, intervention has become her focus. She specializes in facilitating interventions for substance abuse, particularly those struggling with chronic relapse challenges. We believe in intervening on the entire family system, providing support and resources for all involved, not just the identified loved one who is struggling. As the family recovers, the chance for success for their loved one increases exponentially. Utilizing the best parts of the Johnson, Systemic and Invitational models to suit each specific case’s needs, well-facilitated intervention is a loving, powerful, empowering experience that treatis all members with dignity, compassion and respect.
Jan is also deeply involved in treatment and diversionary courts in the DFW area as a substance use disorder consultant and placement coordinator, seeking treatment alternatives to incarceration for those struggling with mental illness and substance use disorder.
