Danny Jenkins, Drug Intervention Specialist
At the heart of Intervention 911 are the interventionists. These are the men and women on the front lines making a difference face to face. An interventionist is the person in charge of the actual intervention and ensures that everything that takes place directs the client into recovery and away from perpetuating self-destructive behavior. A successful interventionist will have a wide range of knowledge about addiction and the leadership skills necessary to conduct this kind of arbitration.
Danny Jenkins is one of these skilled interventionist. A Certified Addiction Counselor, Danny has worked in the addiction treatment field since 1987 as a counselor and in program development. He has helped develop many of the outstanding programs and services available for youth and adults at treatment facilities in Southern California including Tarzana Treatment Centers, PROTOTYPES, Valley Community Clinic and Cri-Help, Inc.
If you ask Danny what drives him after such a long and distinguished career and he speak of his commitment to his own recovery and bringing high quality services to others in need. “The most satisfying part of my work is seeing the awakening that occurs within someone who is beginning to realize the freedom they can experience through recovery,” says Danny.
Intervention 911 feels very fortunate to benefit from Danny’s contributions since he has worked closely with to develop and conduct training programs the University of Southern California and Macro Systems International. He has helped enhanced the skills of hundreds of clinical and medical professionals to recognize and address addiction issues in their clients and patients.
There are very few people in the intervention field with Danny’s experience and knowledge and Intervention 911 is proud to have him as part of the team.
