The Importance Of A Continuum Of Care

After drug and alcohol rehab, prevent relapse with a continuum of care plan.

Relapse is a very real part of recovery from addiction and going to inpatient treatment does not ensure your sobriety. Ken Seeley, lead interventionist in the world of substance abuse treatment, speaks to the importance of a continuum of care after a formal treatment program.

30, 60, or even 90 days of rehab is not enough. A life in recovery is about the plan you make for the next one to five years of your life.

The team at Intervention 911 will assist you in every step of your life in recovery after inpatient treatment. Making good decisions adds another day to the sobriety you have worked so hard to achieve.

Keep yourself and your loved ones abstinent from drugs and alcohol.

Continuum care is so important. When people used to leave treatment, inpatient treatment, they used to put together a discharge plan. There are no discharge plans. Recovery is a continuum level of care. You are not discharged. Treatment and recovery is not over after 30- 60-90 days.

It’s really about that accountability for long-term. One to five years being accountable is what equals long-term recovery and we want to help you achieve that. We want to help your loved ones achieve that.

So by our experts working in this field, we’re able to guide you through that process. Right from the very beginning of intervention, finding the appropriate treatment facility, finding a sober living or what would be most appropriate for your loved one if they have to come home. We have therapists in your area that we can help identify to help you through this process. We have the whole level of continuum care and that is what is necessary for long-term recovery. Give us a call and we’ll help you identify what that is for you and your loved one.
